It was a beautiful and nostalgic experience for me to see Jam Gadang at night, standing tall and proud in the city where I was born and raised. After spending 28 years away from my hometown, I finally had the chance to come back and see all of the familiar sights and places that meant so much to me growing up. Seeing Jam Gadang at night brought back so many memories of my childhood and teenage years, and it was amazing to see how much the city had changed, yet still remained the same in so many ways.
The intricate details of Jam Gadang’s architecture stood out even more against the night sky, and I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for having the opportunity to revisit my hometown and all of its wonders. This moment will forever be etched in my heart and soul, and I am grateful to have been able to experience it firsthand.
